  • Overview

This interactive online presentation from Solicitors Lindsay Ash and Lauren Stubbs from Legal Aid NSW will cover topics relevant for therapists working in the disability space. We will explore the NDIS legislation relevant to Access, Section 34 Reasonable and Necessary and Health and Disability decisions. The process of Administrative Appeals Tribunal will be explained in addition to how we can most effectively approach AAT as therapists and provide support to our participants and their informal supports.

An AAT case example appropriate to Physiotherapy will be reviewed.

We will look at consent when there may be impaired decision making and how informed consent can be obtained.
