  • Overview

The workforce is ageing. While those in relatively sedentary occupations may be largely unaffected, for those employed in more physically demanding occupations - and the organisations who employ them - this presents a challenge.

This session will outline the physical and cognitive changes experienced by older workers and provide suggestions for the development of interventions. The challenges of intervention-based research will be illustrated in a case study.
