Rebecca will present on the longet term management of patients post proximal femoral fracture in particular the long term outcomes of patients and strategies for maximising outcomes for this patient group.
Rebecca Ferrier is a clinical physiotherapist who works in the designated Hip fracture service at the Prince Charles Hospital which utilises a shared care model between Orthopaedics and Geriatric Medicine. Rebecca has undertaken clinical research in the field including the independent factors influencing early standing and walking for people after surgery for hip fracture.
