Experienced clinicians Dr Tanya Holt, who is a senior Radiation Oncologist; and Jason Crow, a physiotherapist with a special interest in Men's Health and continence, will discuss the assessment and management of issues related to treatment for prostate cancer.
Dr Tanya Holt is a senior Radiation Oncologist specialising in the management of genitourinary cancer with a particular interest in prostate cancer. She works within a specialist multi-disciplinary urology team at the Mater Public and Private Hospitals and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and is involved in prostate cancer research and specialist education. She is the vice chairperson of FROGG - the faculty of radiation oncology genitourinary group.
Jason Crow graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009 with a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies and also holds a degree in Biomedical Science. Jason has a keen interest in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and men’s health and continence. Jason provides musculoskeletal outpatient services and also leads a Men’s Health and continence team across several practice locations. With a special interest in Men’s Health and continence, Jason provides pelvic floor rehabilitation for men and is particularly skilled in prostate pre-operative and post-operative assessment and treatment. Jason is an advocate for men and their incontinence management and regularly presents at and supports Prostate Support Groups in the greater Brisbane area. He is also continues his role this year on the APA committee of the Continence and Women’s Health group.
