Explore how Occupational Therapy supports children with emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, and sensory processing needs. This session offers practical strategies for identifying sensory profiles and promoting regulation through tailored interventions.
Stephanie Goodwin holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice. She is a dedicated paediatric occupational therapist with experience supporting children aged 2 to 12 years across a range of developmental needs. Stephanie works with children to help them participate more fully in their daily environments—at home, in school, and in the community. Her areas of focus include autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing challenges, learning difficulties, and ADD/ADHD. Her approach centres on building foundational skills through play-based and functional activities. This includes supporting the development of fine and gross motor skills, such as handwriting, balance, and coordination, while also enhancing social interaction and emotional regulation.
