  • Overview

Dial-a-Dizzy is a statewide telehealth diagnostic advisory service supporting the management of patients presenting to hospital with acute dizziness.

This lecture will introduce the Dial-a-Dizzy service at Logan Hospital and present a case-based example demonstrating how low-tech diagnostic approaches can capture very early, rarely observed responses to bedside vestibular testing following an acute vestibular insult.

Contrasting examples from the literature will also be presented, examining both acute vestibular loss and acute cerebellar dysfunction.
