  • Overview

This webinar is the second session in a two-part series designed to help physiotherapy students and new graduates confidently transition from university into their first role.

Participants will gain practical strategies for preparing for interviews, responding to common interview questions, presenting themselves professionally, and making a positive first impression. The session will also cover what to expect in your first physiotherapy role, including workplace expectations, professional behaviours, and tips for a successful transition into practice.

In this session, Gemma and Mel will provide guidance on navigating interviews and how to prepare for success in your first year of practice for both QLD Health and Private Practice. Drawing on past experience and general insights, the presenters will share practical advice and common pitfalls to help participants approach interviews and their early career with confidence.

This session is intended as general guidance only and will not include discussion of internal selection processes.
