Presented by two senior paediatric physiotherapists from Sydney Children's Hospital and The Children's Hospital Westmead, this lecture aims to provide an overview of common paediatric surgeries requiring management in the Intensive Care Unit. Physiotherapy interventions and considerations for treatment will be discussed for a range of cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, neurosurgical and organ transplant procedures. This lecture is suitable for university students and recent graduates without experience in managing paediatric surgical patients.
