Presented by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) in combination with Women’s Health Training Associates (WHTA),  this series of nine online lectures provides the background knowledge underpinning the physiotherapists role across various major female life stages including pregnancy, early postpartum, adolescence and postmenopause.

 

Important: These lectures are required to be completed prior to attending the  APA Level 1 Women’s Health Through the Life Stages face-to-face course (1 day).

  • Pregnancy and early postpartum musculoskeletal conditions and their management
  • Obstetric trauma and its management
  • Lactating breast dysfunction
  • Breast and pelvic oncology at an introductory level 
  • Female adolescence and post-menopause
