  • Overview

Physical first aid has long been a core requirement for health professionals, but mental health first aid is often overlooked.

In this one-hour lecture psychologically informed Physiotherapist and mental health educator, Irene Ais, will share a high-level over-view for supporting clients who present to sessions with mental health challenges or are in crisis and need more urgent support.

Expect to learn about common mental illness in Australia and the foundations of how to support clients when they are becoming unwell whilst staying in your scope of practice.
