  • Overview

The thoracic spine is often missed in the assessment of upper limb and spinal pain presentations and is considered the ‘Cinderella’ of the spine (Heneghan and Rushton 2015). There are a number of key conditions that are commonly seen in Physiotherapy practice and are important to screen for and consider. This lecture with briefly cover the most common thoracic spine conditions seen in clinical practice and highlight how different aspects of our clinical assessment can inform treatment directions.
