Prof Vinicius Cavalheri is a Professor within the Curtin School of Allied Health, at Curtin University, and the Director of Allied Health Research at South Metropolitan Health Services in Perth. Over the past 19 years, Vin has accrued clinical and research experience in the area of exercise training and promotion of physical activity for people with lung cancer and chronic lung disease. He is a former Cancer Council WA Research Fellow, has received approximately $8 Million in research funding, published over 130 scientific documents and delivered over 60 invited talks nationally and internationally. Vin’s work has received several national and international prizes and awards and have informed several clinical guidelines worldwide, including the World Health Organization Package of Interventions for Malignant Neoplasm Rehabilitation.
