Presenter

Sharyn Furze is a Senior Physiotherapist with 20 years clinical experience working in public hospitals in Victoria and Queensland. She has been at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane since 2011, and has worked across the cardiology/ cardiac surgery care continuum for 10 years. Sharyn implemented the Keep Your Move In The Tube guidelines post median sternotomy to PAH in 2021, and was a member of the expert group which led the rollout of Keep Your Move In The Tube across Queensland the following year. Currently Sharyn is enjoying her blinded assessor role as part of the STTARRS Clinical Research Trial, coordinated by the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute in Melbourne, and recently completed the International Council of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Foundations Certification.
