Physiotherapy is a key factor in injury management but were you aware that your clients’ rehabilitation can be negatively impacted by poor nutrition or further enhanced and supported with good nutritional management? In this eTalk Simone Austin, Advanced Sports Dietitian, provides insights into some of the key nutritional considerations when managing injuries (for athletes and the general active population alike). Learn about the different food groups that can play a role to support your client’s optimal recovery. Nutrition, particularly in the athlete population, requires an individualised approach. This eTalk therefore is general in nature and it is always receommended to seek the advice of an SDA accredited sports dietitian.
