Mentoring Series #11 - Lumbar Spine Treatment

This module covers the fundamentals of:

• The options and progressions of treating Low Back Pain (LBP)
• Practical demonstrations of treatment techniques
• Aim to choose the treatment that will make the most significant difference to patients pain and function

Pre – Requisite

The purpose of this module is to provide mentoring and up-skilling, targeted at new graduate or those new to clinical practice. It is aimed to support both the principle and the new graduate as they commence their career. This module would be of great appeal to graduates who are seeking work in physiotherapy practice.

Presenter

Ben Power, APAM. Ben facilitates this module. He is the Principal at Leichardt Sports Physiotherapy. He attained a BHSc (Sp & Ex Sc) in 1996 and completed his BAppSc (PHYT) at the University of Sydney in 2000. Ben has worked both in Australia and the United Kingdom and has extensive experience as a Clinical Educator for physiotherapy students and new graduates. Ben is also involved at Macquarie University tutoring in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to students in the Doctorate of Physiotherapy Course.
