Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Level 1 pre-requisite modules

Developed as pre-requisite learning to the seven Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Level 1 courses, the Level 1 pre-requisite modules will provide physiotherapists knowledge that underpins the Level 1 musculoskeletal physiotherapy courses.

The course is ideal for physiotherapists who are looking to further develop a career path in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

The Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Level 1 pre-requisite modules comprise six online, self-paced topics covering:

• Frameworks guiding musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice, Parts 1 & 2
• Hands on in musculoskeletal practice, Parts 1 & 2
• An overview of exercise prescription
• Pain basics: A biopsychosocial experience of pain
• Imaging of the spine
• Outcome measures and screening tools in physiotherapy

All modules must be completed before you can progress to any of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Level 1 courses. It is recommended to do them in the order presented. You must complete all six modules to receive a certificate.
