  • Overview

Pelvic pain is a frequent yet often overlooked issue in female athletes. This lecture will explore why pelvic pain is commonly missed in sporting settings, and provide practical clinical insights to help physiotherapists identify it as a primary diagnosis or a contributing factor to common sports‑related presentations.

Presenter

Tory Toogood, MACP, is a WMPH physiotherapist and registrar of the Australian College of Physiotherapists, undertaking the Specialisation training program.

She has decades of experience in WMPH physio along with MSK and Sports physio in a private practice setting and seeks to build strong links between physiotherapists to reduce siloing of healthcare and improve screening for pelvic health dysfunction.

She sees patients at Vital Core Physio in Norwood, a practice she established in 2003, and is a Clinical Teaching Specialist at Flinders University
