Join us to explore the detection and interpretation of stroke in computed tomography (CT) and Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with experienced medical professionals Dr Angus MacKinnon and Dr Douglas Dunn.
This presentation is aimed at physiotherapists who would like to advance their interpretation skills and understanding of the use of imaging in identification of stroke.
Dr Angus MacKinnon, graduated from the University of Sydney before completing radiology training at Westmead Hospital, Sydney. Then undertook Musculoskeletal MRI and Cardiac fellowships at Calvary Hospital, Hobart. Main interests are MRI and Musculoskeletal Imaging.
Dr Douglas Dunn, prior to his career in medicine Douglas was a Chemical Engineer who worked as a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellow in the field of Nanomedicine in the United Kingdom. He subsequently graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney and completed his junior doctor years at Concord Hospital. He is currently an Interventional Radiology Fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. His interests include musculoskeletal, fetal, interventional, and breast radiology. His active areas of research include nanomedicine and artificial intelligence.
