Joel Friedlaender is a software developer and the founder of Cliniko, which he started in 2011. For the past 13 years, Cliniko has provided practice management software to allied health professionals and currently has more than 100,000 users around the world. In line with Joel's founding vision, Cliniko continues to be a company with a strong ethical underpinning—it is completely carbon neutral and donates 2% of its revenue to charity. Joel is also a strong advocate for digital security and privacy and often gives educational talks on these topics to help raise awareness of them in the healthcare industry.
