This foundational eating disorder training has been developed specifically for physiotherapists and aims to enhance understanding of eating disorders, including their causes, signs, and potential impacts on individuals' health and well-being.
Sally Partington, APAM, is a Senior Physiotherapist passionate about working with people with eating disorders. She has clinical experience across both private and public services and currently works part time at Perth’s Children Hospital in the eating disorder service as well as working at Esus Centre, Australia’s first integrated eating disorder day hospital. Prior to starting at Esus in November last year, she founded and worked in her private practice, where she focused on outpatient care to support people during eating disorder recovery. Sally aims to create awareness of eating disorders amongst her physiotherapy colleagues and wants to raise awareness and understanding of these complex conditions.
