Come along to this presentation designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of physiotherapists in safe needling techniques specific to acupuncture and dry needling procedures in the thorax, to risk mitigate pneumothorax.
Jenny Lucy, APAM, is currently the APA’s ADNG International Acupuncture Association of Physical Therapists (IAAPT) Executive Committee member and ex officio on WA ADNG as past Chair and ex officio on National ADNG Committee as past chair. Jenny has held a registered physiotherapy acupuncture qualification in New Zealand since 1998 and a Level 2 Integrative Acupuncture qualification 2023. Jenny is resident and practising in Northam WA and practices using muscle balancing trigenics, rehabilitative exercising, acupuncture and dry needling with all of her clients. Jenny is a tutor on the WA APA Dry Needling Course, and was a tutor on the WA Integrative Acupuncture Training course 2022. Jenny was on an expert panel, MyJoint Tai Chi Research Group - UNiMelb in 2023 and holds a postgraduate diploma in Cardio-Thoracic Physiotherapy studying under Jennifer Pryor of the Brompton Hospital, UK.
