Do patients who suffer chronically actually need more treatment? Many hopefully need the confidence and reassurance to be more active and in addition, be monitored to do what they need to do safely. More than ever, patients with chronic disease are uncertain and need regular support especially when things don’t go smoothly. Current funding models do not allow us to provide the care we should. Perhaps, that shouldn’t stop us. Unlimited care programs may be just one possibility.
