A neurosurgeon's approach to the non surgical management of degenerative spinal conditions

Dr Ema Knight in an Adelaide based Neurosurgeon working in both the public and private sectors. She will discuss non surgical medical management of spinal pain with a focus on injection therapy. The role of imaging to guide decision making will also be discussed. 

Presenter

Dr Ema Knight has worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia since 2019. She is also Director of Medical Services (Clinical Governance) and a VMO at Flinders Private and Memorial Hospitals. She has been committed to improvement work in public Outpatient Services, including collaboration to commence a Physiotherapy-led Spinal Assessment Clinic in 2024.
