This presentation aims to provide an update on current evidence for epidemiology, risk factors, pathophysiology, diagnosis, assessment and treatment for cording/axillary web syndrome.
Iwa Yeung graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of QLD in 2004. She subsequently completed her Masters of Physiotherapy in the field of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2011. She has authored two systematic reviews on topics of axillary web syndrome in 2015 and aquatic Therapy for People with Lymphoedema in 2018. Iwa is lymphoedema trained and she has worked over 10 years as a senior physiotherapist in oncology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
