Total hip replacement is quoted as one of the most successful in Orthopaedics. However a few patients continue to have hip pain after arthroplasty. Others develop hip pain as a later complication. This lecture is an exploration of the broad spectrum of causes of pain after hip arthroplasty. This includes surgical or intraoperative causes, or from wider causes. The talk will include differential diagnosis and specific case discussions. Radiology and examination will also be covered.
