In this session we will explore the importance of interpersonal communication with members of LGBTQIA+ communities. This will include important terminology and concepts, how to navigate conversations in clinical settings, exploring how to apply inclusive language in clinical case studies and will finish with an open Q&A. Tamara Crook (she/her), Bronte Scott (she/her) and Jess Hiew (she/her) are physiotherapists who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ communities working across private and hospital settings, as well as members of the APA's LGBTQIA+ Advisory Panel.
