How can we deal with challenging pain presentations in the real world, where resources might be limited and patients might be struggling with financial and psychosocial challenges?
This presentation focuses on the issues related to managing pain in rural settings as well as other situations where there are fewer resources and higher complexity, such as multiborbid clients in low-income settings.
We will explore how to assess the impact of environmental factors on the clients' pain experience and focus on practical options, pathways and management options.
