Keren Faulker, FACP, will speak from her 10+ years of experience in high performance para-sport. She will provide an understanding of impairment types, the unique role of sports physiotherapy in para-sport, optimising multidisciplinary performance teams and managing training and travel with complex health conditions.
Keren Faulker is a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapy, 2010) and Manager of Performance Services for the Australian Paralympic Committee. She has supported Australian teams at two Olympic Games, two Paralympic Games and three Commonwealth Games and enjoys working in multi-sport environments. Keren leads physical therapies and equipment research for the APC with passion and enjoys opportunities to learn from athletes, coaches and officials in sport. Keren is also Head of Performance Solutions for Cycling Australia's para-cycling program. She has been a lead physiotherapist and part of the Medical Advisory Group to the 2018 Invictus Military Games. In her spare time, Keren enjoys orienteering and spending time with her 3 children.
