The WA Paediatric committee present an interactive panel discussing how to implement telehealth in a paediatric population. This webinar will involve a panel of committee members to discuss topics including: Telehealth platform options; How to set up a successful telehealth session; How to engage new clients; Using household items for therapy; and managing behaviour throughout sessions.
Michelle Berryman is a physiotherapist working at Down South Therapy Services, a mobile therapy service, as part of a multidisciplinary team. Michelle has been utilizing telehealth as a way to continue therapy to her paediatric and disability clientele during the COVID 19 crisis. Michelle has seen clients of varying ages and diagnoses’ during this time.
Rowan Pearce is a physiotherapist working at Western Kids Health, a paediatric private practice multidisciplinary team. Rowan over the last couple of months during COVID-19 has seen over telehealth - infants for plagiocephaly and gross motor delay, primary school children and teenagers with musculoskeletal and rheumatological issues, individually and in group format.
Rachael Tomic is a physiotherapist working at Senses Australia, a community based disability service provider. During COVID, Rachael has worked alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide children and their families with therapy via telehealth. This includes provision of equipment, music/yoga groups and one on one therapy sessions.
