Around two in every five people in Australia will get cancer in their lifetime. There is convincing evidence that exercise and staying active can significantly enhance the quality of life for those affected by cancer at all stages of the cancer trajectory and may reduce / prevent some cancer treatment toxicities.
This Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation course is brought you by CanRehab who are a UK based, international provider of evidence-based, specialist training and education in cancer and exercise for health and fitness professionals.
The Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation course has been designed to enable you to acquire the evidence and current practice on exercising post diagnosis whilst developing the skills to evaluate, risk assess and provide safe, effective and individualised exercises specifically for the cancer population. In addition, it will provide you with practical assessment tools to improve and expand your service provision.
The course is ideal for recent graduates, physiotherapists moving into this practice area or experienced physiotherapists wishing to undertake refresher CPD.
