In this webinar, Maree O'Connor will be discussing the impact of oedema in older people, and what role physiotherapists can take in oedema management for the older population and in Aged Care settings.

 

Presenter

Maree O'Connor, MACP, is an APA Titled Lymphoedema Physiotherapist with over three decades of experience in chronic oedema management. Since 1994, she has been actively delivering lymphoedema courses, workshops, seminars, and speaking engagements at national and international conferences. Maree is deeply passionate about addressing chronic oedema among the elderly population including screening and early intervention. She is currently undertaking a PhD on the prevalence, characteristics and risk factors of older people with chronic lower limb oedema living in the community and residential aged care facilities.
