Fiona has just celebrated 34 years as a physio. She spent the first part of her career in a variety of private, public and Defence force settings and completed a postgraduate Exercise and Sports Science diploma.
Her passion for women’s health developed after the birth of her two girls who are now in their twenties.
Since then she has completed numerous post-graduate courses and tutors on the APA Introduction to Assessment and Treatment of the Pelvic Floor.
She has been a practice partner in a large group on the Sunshine Coast where she lives, developing the pelvic health service within the practices and continues as a mentor to them as well as many other physios.
Eight years ago the opportunity arose to purchase the company Pelvic Floor Exercise which she now runs with her husband Craig whose background in medical purchasing is a perfect match for Fiona’s pelvic floor skills. She is frequently asked to speak on the topic of pelvic floor rehabilitation products both here and overseas.
