  • Overview

Significant changes to the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 will begin on 1 October 2026 following the Fair Work Commission’s gender-based undervaluation review.

The changes introduce a new qualification-based wage structure, revised Health Professional classifications and new progression arrangements. For physiotherapy practices, this means preparing for more than an adjustment to minimum pay rates.

Whether you're an employee wanting to understand how the changes may affect your classification and career progression, or an employer preparing your practice for implementation, this webinar will explain what the reforms mean for the physiotherapy profession.

Participants will learn about:

  • what is changing under the HPSS Award and why
  • the new classification and progression framework
  • what the changes may mean for remuneration, payroll and employment costs
  • practical steps practices should begin taking before 1 October
  • an opportunity to ask general questions during a live Q&A.
